SPIE BIOS 2020

We presented the latest results of research by Padideh Mohammadyousef on fluorophore-free ultrafast plasmonic PCR at SPIE-BIOS 2020. In an oral presentation and a poster we described the design of a compact VCSEL-based ultrafast PCR system and showed that by using ultraviolet transmission measurements it is possible to detect single DNA molecules without the need for fluorophores.
